Looks like it. Though that said I bet they will drop it down to 10 min to be in line with the other out of combat abilities timeframe in the CRB.

It's kind of strange to me that magical repair takes a longer amount of time than mundane repair. Even taking the same amount of time seems off. It's magic? Isn't supernaturally fast mending the appeal of it? Watching something patch itself back together in seconds inspires wonder.

Yes. I figure this was overlooked when quick repair got updated. As it is, I would prepare any other first level spell instead.

On further reflection, Mending should really work like Magic Missile or Heal.

Does something with three actions (remove a Dent in combat?), does more with one minute, and does a lot with ten minutes.

This is in keeping with the general reduction in caster-martial disparity. In PF1, a mundane character could take feats and spend skill points and then devote weeks or months making a suit of armor. A wizard could just learn spells and do the same thing in seconds. "Fabricate! Masterwork Transformation!"

Similarly, Wild Shape and Invisibility and Fly and Air Walk all seemed better than mundane stealth / acrobatics abilities.

PF2 has tried to fix all that, but it's not easy to do without killing the magic of magic.
