I ordered Midgard Player’s Guide for PFRPG and Midgard Tales for Pathfinder RPG. Why the great savings?
Because Pathfinder got taken out behind the shed and a bullet put in its skull. They have to sell it now before it joins the stacks of 4E books that no one buys any more.

I look at it like this.
I have enough material to keep me going for decades, and all these books going on sale is just going to expand on that without killing my wallet.
They ARE great books, so I don't mind a sale - at all!
Great stuff! I have to say the 3PPers for PFRPG are some of THE best. Amazing stuff! KP is at the top of that list.

I did not buy the New Paths Compendium before, but really glad I picked it up as part of this sale. Some nicely done stuff in there.
I have heard of Kobold Press but don't know much about them. Are they changing(updating?) Pathfinder like Pathfinder did for D&D? Or do they just put out adventure paths? Both? Are their books PFS legal?
Check out their website. Look who is writing for them, check out the products they've made, etc. You will quickly get a good sense for the quality and depth of those folks.
They offer adventures, playing advice, and rules supplements - some of the best around.

As pointed out Kobold Press products are not PFS legal.
Actually, no matter how popular or big they might be, NO Third Party company's products are PFS legal - only official Paizo products are (and heck, even some Paizo releases aren't! :)
Got my order. There is a problem with my copy of the Midgard Player's Guide, The first section, pages 3-14, were not bound to the binding and are loose.

I got the Midgard Player's Handbook and Midgard Tales. I think Wolfgang and I got everything settled to get me a new copy of the Midgard Player's Handbook. I realized looking at my bookshelf that it is a battle between you and Frog God Games as to which I have the most 3PP books from.

Does it mean you will no longer support 1E PF, only 2E PF, or just 5E?

Hey there. I believe the sale is over - that’s why the link no longer works
Like many (but certainly not all) third party publishers, Kobold Press is no longer producing Pathfinder 1E material. Right now we are just producing D&D 5E material. Once Pathfinder 2E is released (and assuming the new licensing agreement is similar to 1E) I’m sure Kobold Press will quickly begin producing lots of content for the new system.
Thanks Marc while I am disappointed in no more new Kobold Press material for 1E PF. I also completely understand why. I will probably not switch over to PF 2E at least I can still buy 5E books from your company.
