Im looking to purchase a couple sets of the hardcover books for my gaming group. I cant help but notice all the complaints and issues many customers have had about the book bindings separating and falling apart.
Im really hesitant to throw a bunch of money at this product if there havent been any fixes or improvements to how these books are being made. Has there been any official news stating that they have improved/fixed their process for this?
Thanks!

They put out this blog in September 2017 as well as a number of statements and discussions by different staff members here on the boards.
There wasn’t a problem with hardcovers (or even one book, in particular). There was an issue affecting part of the initial print run. It’s unlikely you’d get one of those now. However, if you were so unlucky, Paizo would fix the problem as outlined in that blog.
The replacement process is to go back to the retailer who will exchange it and return the defective book back through the distribution chain, if you buy it through your FLGS, amazon or another online retailer and they are unwilling to fulfill that obligation, you should contact Paizo via an email to customer.service@paizo.com (including pictures of the issue and details of where you bought the book) and they will sort it out for you.

Don't order the core from Amazon, if you were planning to. They still have stock from the first printing, as I found out recently. Just last month, every copy, including replacements, was falling apart immediately upon my opening the packaging. I ended up getting it from a local comic shop who had the second printing.
That said, the other books have been fine through Amazon.
