Full attack with manufactured weapon(s) (or unarmed strikes) and ONE natural weapon. Primary or Secondary, and 1 and 1 / 2 Strength or 1 / 2 Strength?

Rules Questions

Basically, I have a problem with the section about a creature who has only one natural weapon always using full bab and 1 and 1/2 Strength, vs the section about using manufactured weapons along side natural weapons always treating them as secondary, which always do bab-5 and 1/2 Strength.

Which do you do here?

You do either. creatures choice. either it can use the manufactured weapons and then its natural weapon as secondary, or just use its natural weapon as primary.

Not sure what you're asking beyond that

If they are only attacking with the natural weapon then its full attack bonus with 1.5xstr to damage, if you attack with any sort of natural weapon in the same round its downgraded to attack bonus -5 and half str.

What I’m asking is that both sections use language that implies there can never be a situation where it isn’t true, which means on a full attack with manufactured weapons and your one natural attack, it would be both primary and secondary, both have full bab and bab-5, and both 1 and 1/2 Strength and 1/2 Strength. Which doesn’t work.

The rule wording could have been clearer, but if you consult published stat blocks you will find that the interpretation given above is used in Beatiary entries, a pretty solid piece of evidence.
