Rules Question: Limited Wish and Grand Hexes

So I had a quick question, one of my players parents is under the Witches Grand Hex, eternal slumber which says " The effect can only be removed with a wish or similar magic, although slaying the witch ends the effect " Limited wish is able to "Undo the harmful effects of many spells, such as insanity." Would Limited Wish be able to undo a Grand Hex?

I'd probably err on the side of no. Limited Wish seems a lot lower powered than a Grand Hex, lvl. 13 vs. 18, and the hex in question specifically calls out Wish to end the effect CF, for example, Geas which specifically calls out Limited Wish doing likewise.

That's what I was thinking but I thought I would ask others for their input and clarification, thank you!

Depends how you go about using it, cure the hex directly probably not but it would probably let you kill the witch who cast the hex so you could solve it that way.

It might work temporarily, though; that's a classic means of adjudicating a limited wish attempting to duplicate a wish-level effect. Or it might wake them up but leave their body immobile as if asleep, or wake up their body but leave the mind asleep (think sleepwalking). Like any wish not taken directly from the list of example effects, expect a lot of variation from table to table (and wish source to wish source).
