Cost of a mobile weapons platform construct?

I've been thinking of of making a character who focuses on the use of a repeating ballista, a Huge, Heavy Repeating Crossbow. Until recently i was just going to build it mounted on a wagon, maybe upgrading to floating disc later on in his career. Then a friend suggested an animate object/ Construct body. If i were to go down the construct route how much would it cost to make a 4-6 legged steel table with a 10-10 surface area to mount the weapon to?

crafting and modifying constructs and craft constructs should give you a good idea for cost and what not. Grant it unless your gm house rules it you will need to be a caster to get the feat.

You could technically custom order one from a wizard in a big town, but the craft lets you get exactly what you want not what the GM wants.

Maybe the eldritch archer magus? Spells and repeating ballista while riding an animated wagon sounds like a fun character concept. It'd be weird in play.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, especially you Garret, i hadn't even considered Eldrich Archer. The plan was for 5 levels in Siege Mage Wizard archetype followed by Siege Gunner Gunslinger archetype but that is definitely something I must consider. Anyway this is what I've got so far.

Ah Um a big NO right there :)

That said this GM will undoubtedly give more latitude to a player (not PC) who puts the time and effort into the design work of what ever creation they've envisioned whether it's some crazy Walking Platform shooting Big Bolts of Death, a new spell or wild personally created demiplane.
