In all the spellcasters archetypes, spell slots level could start at level 4, with a basic spellcasting feat, with one first level spell slot, and then every two levels after you gain acces to a one more higher level slot up to third level slot (2nd level at character level 6 and third level at 8th character level).
With the second and third archetypes feats (expert and master spellcasting feats) that can increase your higher level slot you also gain a new higher level slot every two character levels.
But, i found something litlle boring is the huge gap between fourth spell level slot access and third level one. Because you have to wait until your character gain his 12th level. you have to wait 4 levels between the 8th and the 12th ones...
Why couldn't you gain access to the 4th spell slot at 10th character level, instead of 12th? That's granting access to 4th level spell slot two levels after the third one.
I think that could be a good idea to grant expert spellcasting and master spellcasting feats 2 level lowers, with access to spell slot two levels lower too, no?

in general, i don't like the spellcasting mutliclasses at all.
that is, because if i have 1 spell from each level at the end, I'm much less likely to even use it. A lot of players in fact loath to use their 1/day abilities, because they are... only 1/day!
There is the feat that grants a second cast for your lowest level spells, but that also forces you to get the higher level ones as well, since it depends on maximum spell level.
right now, you need 5 feats to get "full spellcasting" that multiclass allows.
I would very much prefer if the "extra spell cast" feat got rolled into the basic spell casting feats, and the spell casting feats got spread out more.
something like:
dediaction feat (cantrips)
basic: 2 1st level and 2 2nd level (4 spells)
expert: 2 3rd level and 2 4th level (4 spells)
master 2 5th and 2 6th (4 spells)
legendary 2 7th and 1 8th and 1 9th (4 spells)
This way, you still require the same 5 feats to get the same spells/day
but instead of them being more spread out (1 of each at 3 levels) , you get more concentrated ones (2 of each of 2 levels)
