okay... if a shrunken spell caster got in you bag of holding and started disintegrating your gear would you use your own save or the items?....and second question what if its a cursed item that causes you to make saves when its "in you possession" ...what if it is in the bag ?

for effects coming from outside your bag the things inside would not generally exist(if someone is trying to reach in and take something i could see it being seen as in your possession) .....but if something gets inside the bag how could you shield your items from it from outside the bag ...seems they would be defenseless to attack or just being stolen to me ...as to the curse items needing be equipped or in this case used, yea that just got me out of my current jam i think ......but still left me with a couple questions ....other line that got me is it says beneficial items in it don't give you bonus ...if a stone of good look wouldn't give me a bonus from inside it is it really in my possession ?....Also ..did you give the official ruling out of curiosity ...or more board concensus? or opinion(nothing wrong with that it's just you seem sure of it)
There's no official ruling on this. And there probably won't be because it's not a simple question.
