Howdy.
So with the current Assit Action, which.. albeit is rather hard to use in some cases, does anyone else really miss the Bodyguard feat?
In p1, i have a oracle of life who uses life link and bodyguard, with aid another boosters to stay with his friends and block for them using AOOs.
Now that we lack Combat Reflexes and really AOOs in general for most classes, I'm not sure whatit would be based out of anymore. but with how hard healing is and how much more fluid the combat in this version is (which i love.. i never was much for the stand and full attack)
I think this could be a fairly cool design space for some of the "off martials"
Was just a random thought while playing a playtest and wishing that I could defend the downed player...
Unless of course I missed something somewhere. Which is very possible.
