Deadly trait description

Skills, Feats, Equipment & Spells

In the weapon table, a rapier is listed as having "deadly d8". In the deadly trait description, the example with the rapier says that master quality rapier will do extra 2d6 from deadly instead of 2d8. One of these is incorrect.

To my understanding a crit is double the normal damage dice. Deadly adds the deadly damage die on top of that. Master quality weapon just gives +2 Item Bonus for normal attack rolls EDIT: and I guess lets you add 2 deadly die on a crit in addition to normal crit die. .
Keep in mind i'm going off of a different forum post for this as I had the same question.
EDIT: Okay I see what page you're looking at. so it's either 4 d6 with a crit or 2d6+2d8. I'd definitely look for an errata post and add this if someone else hasn't.

The weapon quality should multiply the deadly dice, in this case 1d8, 2d8, and 3d8. This damage is on top of normal critical effects and is not doubled.
