Strike and Stride are too similar.

I'm only a few pages in, and I think one of the biggest potential problems is Strike and Stride.

they're only one letter apart, meaning that an accent can muddle which word they're going for.

My suggestion would be to change Stride to Move, Walk, Run, anything other than Stride.

Strike is fine, but "Ranged Strike" sounds really weird. Honestly I don't see the point in changing them from Attack and Move.

The main problem with "Move" was the following exchange betwen a GM and two new players:

GM: Did you use your move actions?
Player: Yes, I moved.
GM: ... but did you move through a move action?
Player: No, that was a five-foot step.
GM: OK
Player: So I can use move action now?
GM: Noooo, you moved as your five-foot step, you can't combine that with other movement.
Player: Oh, I did not mean moving, I meant using a move action to ready my shield!
Player2: How come drawing a weapon is a move action if it does not entail movement? What a silly game...

That's fair, yeah.

But now there's no such thing as a move action, it's just an action, so that removes the issue... doesn't it?

They changed Attack to Strike so there is a clear distinction from the Strike action and just a general Attack. This was an issue for the wording of a few Feats in 1st Edition where an Attack and the Attack action could lead to confusion.

I am less sure why they changed Move. I honestly like the similar sound, but I can see it leading to communication issues in some situations.

I think it’s an improvement from the overused attack and move from pf1. But I agree that it would have been better if the new words weren’t so similar.
