Unarmored Defense

I remember in a dev post for a blog, it was mentioned that every class is trained in unarmored defense.

However, proficiency with it is only mentioned in the monk class, and only about the monk's proficiency with it. This needs to be fixed.

It certainly seems to indicate that they intended to have everyone 'trained' in 'unarmored defense proficiency'. Even the Monk doesn't list being trained in it, but instead his ability raises it (the assumed default of trained) to expert (then master, then legendary).

It looks like a simple omission and they meant that every character is "trained" in unarmored defense. It would be nice if they would say this for every class, where they give the armor and weapons proficiency for each class.

The released the Pathfinder 2 Playtest stats for some of the iconics to include Ezren. They list his AC as 13, and he has a Dexterity of 14.

So AC = 10 + 2 (Dex mod.) + 1 (Trained in unarmored defense) = 13

If he wasn't trained in unarmored defense his AC wouldn't be 13.

Actually just looked at the Pathfinder Playtest 2 update -- and they fixed it.

An oversight yes, always remember to check the latest errata!
