Snake cult

hey i'm writing an adventure for the first time and i wanted to do a big cult in a big city thing with big snake worshippers and was just looking for some good ideas for Classes, monsters, things of that nature. any advice or suggestions would be helpful.

There was exactly that kind of cult in one of the latest Hardcover books... Adventurers Guide

I would add a few druids, serpent shamans, specifically. Maybe some monk/rogue multiclass with Snake Style. Do you want venomous snakes or constrictors, because they are built different ways. I'd recommend the monk/rogues for vipers, monk/fighters for constrictors.

The Cult of Ydersius sounds like exactly what you're looking for. Serpentfolk conspirators served by human dupes, evil wizards looking for forbidden pre-human knowledge, and all sorts of snakey goodness.
