The Player's Guide for Legacy of Fire seems to be the only Adventure Path "Player's Guide" branded companion book that is not a free download. Some of the stuff in it is PFS legal:
Equipment: all equipment on pages 22–23, all magic items on pages 26–27 (Note: handstraps of roofjumping applies to the Acrobatics skill); Feat: Sandwalker; Traits: all traits on pages 7–9 are allowed except Duskwalker Agent (Notes: Uwaga Highlander applies only to the Stealth skill and Eyes and Ears of the City applies only to the Perception skill; no campaign traits are allowed.)
Are the few things in that book that are legal worth the $7.99 price for a PDF if I mainly play Organized Play? Are there any flavorful character builds that benefit from the equipment, feats or traits? Is the equipment found anywhere else?

What do you own thus far, and what from that book appeals to you?
I remember seeing a cool build one time of a lion tamer character, who used a whip and a chair as weapons. I think the whip trait or feat or something came from LofF.
I really don't own many of the Player Companion line. I have a lot of hardbacks, and most of those are ruleset stuff, not fluffy at all.

Funny thing - I just bought the PDF of this book last night, because I’m about to run a PFS scenario that has a magic item from it on the chronicle sheet and I want to be able to buy it when I apply the chronicle to a character.
