I'm writing a Ben 10 fanfiction where Ben and Rook get sent to another universe and meet their doubles. They then get attacked and have to defend themselves. But I can't figure out how to differentiate between the paired characters.
I was thinking that I could use the first names for the main versions and last names for the doubles. That might work for Rook but calling Ben's double Tennyson all the time might not.
Or, since the doubles from the other universe can be considered OCs in a way, do I just give the Ben double a nickname to use? And if so, what nickname do I use?
Feedback would be very nice.
I don't think that would work.
Ok, I'm going to go with Rook for main Universe version and Blonko for the double. It works for him. But I don't think that it would work for Ben.
I could call Ben's double Benji. I think I'll use that as a place-holder at least and replace it if I think of something better.
Why not use Ben's second name, Kirby?
