A slayer that needs to learn to fight.

Advice

OK guys here it goes, im making a ghoul slayer and i want him to be kind of just creepy as f@+$ and use that to fight/intimidate people. But personally have never played a two weapon fighter and that actually looks fun. So basically what i'm asking is does the menacing combat style beat two weapon fighting or should i just pick up my swords and hack away at the enemies.

You can be an intimidating two-weapon user, combining the two ideas.

Brawler 2/Slayer 6:
Brawler (Snakebite Striker Archetype)
1 Weapon Focus (Waveblade)
2 Weapon Versatility (B)

Slayer (Menacing Combat Style) (Favored Class)
3 Bludgeoner
4 Enforcer (B)
5 Accomplished Sneak Attacker
6 Sap Adept (B)
7 Sap Master
8 Shatter Defenses (B)

Noticeable Class Features:
Brawler's Flurry (TWF, Double Slice, and you only need one weapon)
+4d6 Sneak Attack
2nd Studied Target
Unarmed Strike

Slayer Talents:
Ranger Combat Style
Rogue Talent -> Combat Trick
Ranger Combat Style

Quick breakdown
Weapon Versatility allows you to deal Bludgeoning damage with the Waveblade, which in turn allows you to triggers Enforcer with the Bludgeoner feat.
Enforcer grants you a free intimidate check when you deal nonlethal damage, which coupled with Shatter Defenses makes your opponent a viable target for Sap Master.

Weaknesses
Anything immune to Nonlethal, Sneak Attack, and/or Intimidation.

So undead, in most cases.

After level 8
I'd recommend Outslug Style to attack anything within 20 ft, since you really want to full-attack.

Improved Critical is obviously good to have, but with Enforcer you'll also make enemies Frightened with critical hits. So take it.

Take Intimidating Prowess if you're struggling to actually intimidate your enemies, or just invest into a magical competence bonus.

Also, buy a Cruel weapon to apply an extra -2 penalty to most rolls, in addition to the Shaken condition.

So, are you making a slayer of ghouls, or a slayer that happens to be a ghoul? I got the impression it was the later.
If it's the opposite, then you should know that Intimidation isn't a very viable tactic against undead, since they're mostly mindless.

As for which Combat Style to take, the main benefit is that you don't need to fulfill the prerequisites. So if you're strength-based and want to TWF, you "have" to take Two-Weapon Combat. The Menacing Combat Style has useful feats, but they're not locked behind a dexterity requirement.

Silver Crusade

Hurtful?

i find that if you really want to give people the bad oh @#$%! feeling you attack them where they can't recover fast - by braking their weapons!
one of my most intimidating npc's was a lawful evil fighter using an adamantium great-sword and specing in sundering other people's weapons.
it came to a point where the players who know he was coming did their out most to run away...

The menacing style is more interesting but perhaps more risky since potentially dangerous opponents like undead, constructs, oozes, paladins, plants, and vermin are immune to intimidation.

Another way to get free intimidation checks is Cornugon Smash. It does the same thing as enforcer but requires power attack instead of nonlethal damage. If you want to use these intimidation rules, and you're making lots of attacks, can also tack on Cruelty.

Being vulnerable to attack regardless of position and intervening obstacles is also disconcerting for your opponents.
Flesheater Barbarian is ghoulish and can give you a fly speed.
Horizon Walker 3 (Astral Dominance) + Dimensional Assault less you do teleporting charge attacks.
