What are the Season #9 must play scenarios?

I pretty much only play current season scenarios at PaizoCon... if I can just play 2-4 sessions, with my son... Level 6 druid, and Level 7 Paladin... what are the most recommended, or "must-play" scenarios?

Given this'll also likely be these characters' last foray before being obsoleted!

"Call of the Copper Gate" is atmospheric but tough in tier 6-7. If you survive, it has a follow-up in "Oath of the Overwatched". To be honest, I think the best scenario this season so far is "Shores of Heaven", but it's only a 1-5 so you'd need other characters for it.

(there is going to be a season 10 though...)

If either character is part of the Sovereign Court faction (or even if not!), I cannot recommend #9-13: The Lion's Justice (Tier 7-11) highly enough. It is my personal favorite of Season 9 (so far!) and has already vaulted to my top 10 all-time favorites list!

Another Season 9 scenario with an epic feel to it is #9-11: The Jarlsblood Witch Saga. That said, I'm also a fan of the three scenarios mentioned above...there's quite a bit of Season 9 that's really awesome - it's hard to pick just a few!

I would add my recommendation to Call of the Copper Gate followed by Oath of the Overwatched.

Jarslblood Witch Saga is very good.

Exchange characters should definitely look at Bloodcove Blockade.

Sanctum of the Sages is excellent but I wouldn't touch it in a con slot. You will probably run out of time and it is definitely a challenging one you probably want a team you know for.

Case of Missing Persons is enjoyable and leads into Fury of the Final Blade.

Which factions are your PCs?

The Paladin is Dark Archive... I think the Druid is Grand Lodge...

I can't think of what the Grand Lodge scenarios are this season, but both Call of the Copper Gate and Oath of the Overwatched are good for Dark Archive. How old is your son, and does slightly creepy with at least one fairly grotesque character sound ok for him? (You may want to take a look at the cover for Oath of the Overwatched). If so, both of those scenarios are in the right level range and I think provide a fun experience. I played Copper Gate low tier, so I can't comment on the difficulty at high tier like others have.

Silver Crusade 4/5

Do you know about the new Concordance faction? We finally have a nature themed faction, so lots of nature themed PCs are switching over.

Thanks all!

He's 15, and that sounds like it'd be ok.

Nature themed faction sounds interesting... I'll have to let him know.

I've done nothing from this season... all I've done since PaizoCon 17 has been Starfinder, Emerald Spire, and running through an old season.

The Darkive has need of the paladin in Call of the Copper Gate and Oath of the Overwatched. Just beware of the skill challenges involved! :)

I personally really like:

Signs in Senghor
Down the Verdant Path

But there are so many good scenarios this season.

Is it ok to play Oath without playing Call of the Copper Gate (looks like that one is not offered...) I mean I know you CAN...

Most of those ideas aren't at the con... I really do need to play more in the early season...

A couple of the recommended 1-5 level scenarios are offered, I've got more low level chars, but my son just has the one level 6. seems like a waste to start a 1st level at this point... when he only does society at PaizoCon.

There are pros and cons to having played Call before Oath. You could certainly do without it.

Thanks... will add that one then...

Tough to balance the PFS, SFS, and Playtest we want to play!

Salvation of the Sages is pretty awesome, if you can get in tier for it. (7-11)

The Exchange 1/5 5/5 ***

It can also be pretty deadly, choose your party carefully or walk away.

hmm... this is mainly what's offered... best of these?

Pathfinder Society Scenario #9–15: The Bloodcove Blockade (For Levels 3–7)

I definitely recommend getting into the faction flavor. Call of the Copper Gate and Oath of the Overwatched make up the Dark Archive story arc for season 9. In the Grandmaster's Name looks to be the first Grand Lodge faction scenario in season 9, while the second is going to be the 12-15 at the end of the season.

Personally, I enjoyed the Sovereign Court storyline a lot (Birthright Betrayed, Jarlsblood Witch Saga, The Lion's Justice) and the tie-in it presents into the War of the Crown AP.
