Looking To Min-Max Some Stats

I'm looking to min-max some stats on a gestalt character, i can put them into any order.

9, 12, 16, 16, 17, 18 -- Gestalt

I can only buy some relatively cheap armor and a masterwork weapon.
Any ideas? I kinda want some really good melee with a good ranged option.

A fighter paired with something? I'm not sure.

EDIT: Can't do anything occult, cavalier, summoner, antipaladin, gunslinger, zen archer

Sandbox.

I like everything that isn't a bard.
Only with one other player, mixture of RP and combat.

Paladin and Oracle are a match made in Heaven, so that'd be my pick.

Warpriest/Slayer or Ranger? Use the Warpriest for all your melee needs, use the Slayer's or Ranger's access to the archery Ranger Combat Style for Rapid Shot/Manyshot without prerequisites.

with that array I would say 16,18,16,12,17,9 so they can do damage at range and melee, plus with slayer they get a bunch of skill points already so a higher int is less needed

if they do that they should pick up that oracle archetype that give the oracle lay on hands for more uses per day
