I understand that to become a Linnorm King, you ave to kill a Linnorm by yourself & be a native of the Linnorm Kingdoms.
What title/accolade do you receive if you kill a Linnorm under less rigorous circumstances? Such as:
1. You solo a Linnorm, but aren't a native of the area?
2. You and your buds kill a Linnorm as a group, and are natives.
3. You and your buds kill a Linnorm as a group, and aren't natives.
Linnorm Duke?
Linnorm Earl? (Eorl?)
Linnorm Jarl?
Linnorm Bane?

Unless its in the second half of season 8 or in season 9, I'm not sure there is a Linnorm to kill in a scenario.
And even if there was, PFS isn't a place where you get to claim titles like that without some sort of a boon or prestige expenditure for a vanity.

There is an early sanctioned Module where you can kill a Linnorm, and a Season 9 scenario where you can pseudo-kill a Linnorm.
As a GM, I would rule that if your session was taking place in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings I'd probably grant you a +2 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy or related checks when mentioning your kill during a conversation, but that's about the extent of the mechanical benefits I'd be willing to grant.
You can, of course, include it in your introduction for coolness sake. Not many PFS characters have done so!

The one in Season 9 says it doesn't count because they CAN'T have proof... I had a player get around that now, so story wise they "are" a Linnorm King, even though it does nothing mechanically, its a great piece of the story for a PC who is already from a very well-known family.
I was in that game. If I recall, it was justified by saying the head was too mangled to identify, which raises so many questions. Especially considering we mainly used daggers and arrows to kill it.
