What healer / support for a swashbuckler, a hunter and a psychic

Advice

Hi,

I am going to play a campaign from lvl 1 to lvl 16 i think.

The party is going to be a swashbuckler, a hunter and a psychic.

For the moment my choices are quite open :
- Gnome Oracle Heavens msytery (maybe with spirit guide archetype)
- Druid (not sure what build, maybe a versatility build)
- Shaman (idem not sure of the build)

But i am aopen for other concept/build (i would really like to do a alternate channel cleric but i don t think it's doable in that campaign).

Thanks in advance for your advices.

All of those are doable and I don't see why a cleric using variant channeling wouldn't be doable too.

In case it helps, a witch with the healing patron or the herb witch archetype works fine as a healer.

What sort of character appeals to you - one who uses the same tactics most of the time (but is very good at them), or one who can change it about given a little warning? Do you want to be at least a little competent in melee, or are you fine relying on spells? Do you like having a reasonable amount of skill points or are spells and roleplaying enough for you out of combat?

For the cleric it s because it don't fit with the campaign and i am tired to play cleric (or life oracle) for the last campaigns with other groups.

I like to be able to change my tactics when i need it.
I can rely only on spells.
I like to have some skills, mostly because i think you have to define your character by his skills, and you can t roleplay a high diplomacy if you don t have any ranks in it.

You make me thinking that maybe the best choice will be the druid.

I'm having a good time with my heal/support/debuff/summoning Shaman. You can use your hexes for combat effectiveness (slumber and misfortune are my go-to hexes) and save your spells for healing/utility. Arcane Enlightenment from the Lore spirit adds a ton of versatility at the cost of a very MAD build.

You might even like the feyspeaker druid archetype. It sacrifices melee ability for skill points and class skills (including diplomacy), some sorcerer/wizard spells in addition to any domain spells, and the unusual feature of being a charisma-based prepared spellcaster.

I have a build I like, it's the one I'm playing right now... I'm playing an Oracle of the Bones, but I have Mysterious Revelation to give him Channel from the Life Mystery. It's at -2 levels, but that's still pretty good. Reach Spell can also change the tide of battle by taking all of the touch-only healing spells up to ranged healing, critical sometimes.
