Are bonus types going away? If so will buffing spells stack? Will spell buffing become less of major aspect of combat preparation?
It does sound like bonuses are going to be streamlined to cut down on the math and all the different sources you need to remember. I must admit I hated this aspect of the game.
I don't think it will be as severe as 5e though.
I hope not too much, because I love all the different minor bonuses accumulating into something awesome.
I doubt they'll flatten everything to the degree 5e did. Maybe just a reduction of the number of bonus types, for example making all effects from magic items and buffs a Magic Bonus.
