Is there any word on how forwards compatible 1e source books will be with the 2e rules?
After replacing our 1e Core Rulebooks with the 2e version, will we be able to use the other 1e source books (including 3pp) we may have in a 2e game with minimal conversion effort? If someone wants to play a tiefling gunslinger or a peri-blooded aasimar psion in 2e after the new Core Rulebook comes out, will that be easy to do? How much conversion effort is involved if a GM wants to use some critters out of Bestiary 4 that haven't made it into 2e yet?
If this is all straightforward then that will make the transition a lot easier and will also make me feel better about my recent large purchase of 1e source books. I hate to think that they will just gather dust if/when I switch to 2e.
