Is there any way we could get updated RSP player boons for SFS too? The only one I've seen is Relics of Lost Golarion, which is not ideal when dealing with new players.
"Here's this cool thing, which you can't use unless you buy the first book of the Adventure Path, which may not even still be in stock at this store."

I have to say that I am really not happy with this player boon. Making a player buy AT MINIMUM a $16 PDF to be able to use the boon is a bit harsh, especially since they will most likely never have the need for the AP outside of using this boon.
I'm happy to see that others have already expressed disappointment with this boon.

Bump, bump, bump! Will we be getting a new player boon before 2019?
It's been nearly 7 months since there's been any movement on this particular thread. I've searched around but haven't found any other updates. My players are very disheartened by this, especially since Pathfinder Society gets multiple boons, and those boons have even been changed out for 2018.
Why didn't the Starfinder player boon get an update at the same time as the GM boon?
My RVC is AMAZING, and he has told me more than once to be patient about this, but I know my Starfinder players are disappointed with the RSP. Never mind the fact that a player needs to BUY something before they can even utilize the boon (none of the PFS versions are that way). I now have several players who have refused a copy of the old boon in hopes of getting a new one whenever it comes out.

I wouldn't set expectations too high. Only a single boon has been promised and it'd be extremely hard to find a single boon that'll appeal to everyone... especially after they earn that boon a 2nd and 3rd time.
I'm hoping it'll be in addition to the current RSP boon, so at least future players will have a choice (even if one of them isn't very good).

I JUST got back from SkalCon (such a great event) but I want you all to know that boons are coming up quick in my agenda. I'm doing everything I can to get a new player RSP boon out to people for the remainder of this year, as it was missed in the past.
No official updates on when. But I want you to know that it is in our sights.

A new player boon would be awesome for welcoming new members in!
One that might be worth repeating is the Society Rebuilder boon — everyone can use more factions, right? I also would not mind seeing an SFS one where you do something for someone else and earn something cool after a few times.
How about a friendly guide boon that kicks in when everyone fails the ‘Know before you Go” knowledge check? The guide not only helps you with the ‘Know before you go’ check, but shows you where the best gossip hole is — whether that is a restaurant, body shop, bar or Poshkettle Tea franchise.

If we issue a new SFS boon soon, doesn't that just set us up for the same problem next year? The RSP boons are supposed to be rotated in February. the decision was made to extend the boon from last season because it did not receive an entire year of exposure. If we change now (or in the near future) we'll have the same problem again next September. IMO Whatever decision is made needs to be with the intent of getting boons back on schedule.

I know it's probably outside the realm of possibility at this point, but I'd like to reiterate that while SFS RSP has only had 1 player boon, PFS currently has 4 (we all know it's really only 2 though). At least the illusion of choice would be nice.
But, if there only being 1 means I can finally give out something at the table beyond Relics of Lost Golarion, I'll take it.
