Are there any good rogue archetypes that drop the sneak attack mechanic entirely for something else? I need to make a quick level 1 character and my party needs some kind of trapfinder, but I really hate trying to use sneak attack to be effective in combat.
Also I'm aware of the Archaeologist Bard archetype but the party already has a bard, I'll resort to that if I can't find anything else but I'd rather not double up on bards in this group.

I would suggest the Phantom Thief archetype from Ultimate Intrigue. You trade away sneak attack and trapfinding, and in exchange you get to be the absolute best at skills (you get the trapfinding bonus to whatever skills you choose, instead of just perception and disable device) and you can take Combat Trick, Minor Magic, & Major Magic rogue talents as many times as you want.
If you can get back "you can disarm magical traps" with the trap finder trait, this is basically what you want.

The phantom thief is the only wholly sneak attack-free rogue archetype currently available, at least that I know of.
If you're not married to the rogue class, the investigator class also has full-strength trapfinding, while the slayer can gain access to it as early as 2nd level (and has its own archetypes that remove sneak attack).
Finally, if your GM is particularly lenient, you might try to select the Mummy's Mask campaign trait Trap Finder, which gives you a variant of that ability.

You'd be correct, but there are also greatly reduced archetypes. Namely the Snare setter (The Kobold racial archetype for rogue) and the Eldritch Scoundrel (Whose main benefit is the ability to detect magical traps within 10 foot)
