Need help with a npc for my first pathfinder game

Ok I am going to be Gming in a few weeks and i need help with a few Npc.

The first one i need help with is a Shield & Pole-arm/spear Build

Oh i got so far is shield Brace and phalanx fighter.
I am thinking i want the Npc to be Stalwart Defender but i am unsure what to fill in the blanks.

I know the NPC will be Human but thats it

What level is the game set on? What level do you want the NPC?

The Game starts at level 8 and I want the Npc to Be level 12

Heroic NPC stats? PC stats? Any alignment restrictions? Traits/drawbacks okay to use? Sounds like he is a guard of some type, will he have companions during a fight(teamwork feats)?

BODY GUARD BUT YEP A GUARD

STATS ARE 20 POINT BUY (IN THE GAME MY GROUP PLAYS ALL THE Npc use the same point buy except for bosses who use a higher one)

and no know companions. He's a possible guild Recruit that can only be gotten if the right conditions are meant

I want him to Be Good thats all i know about his alignment

Traits and draws back are a must 2 traits 1 draw back
