Polymorphed Kineticist — what counts as prehensile for kinetic blast?

I'm playing a kineticist. If I get polymorphed into a bird, can I still use my blast with my feet? I don't have hands, so I know the (or a prehensile appendage if you don't have hands) clause applies.

The problem is, I don't know if there's a PFS definition of what is prehensile. The dictionary seems to indicate "capable of grasping", so bird feet would count. I just don't know if that's good enough for PFS... Thoughts?

Just looked up prehensile....

O_O

Now I have an image that won't go away from my mind.

pre·hen·sile
prēˈhensəl,prēˈhensīl/Submit
adjective
(chiefly of an animal's limb or tail) capable of grasping.

Sounds like a bird foot would work just fine. Arguably so would a beak, but validate with your DM.

Also, just had a great idea for an NPC. Baleful polymorphed (bird) kineticist who failed the transformation save, but made the “keep your mind” save. Shenanigans ensues.

Ooh... so, don’t tieflings have a prehensile tail alternate racial trait?

My DM is awesome and allows me to have my fox-shaped kitsune use her mouth. Makes me feel like I'm playing a pokemon instead... in a horror game.

It's brilliant.

Please tell me that
A) your kitsune is a pyrokinetecist
B) they’re named Vulpix

Well she's a black coated fox who has realasitc likeness and does telekentic and chaokenetic stuff. But her name isn't Zorark. It's Aishie.

Yup, my oracle has that. He's a demon-spawn and decended from a incubus.

Also for the horrible realization I had... go look up taipers and prehensile (if you're over 18)

Check Ultimate Wilderness, Magic Item slots: It lists what creature can grasp things. Avian, biped (claws), and Biped (hands). This means birds (even flightless ones), bats, flying dino's, biped dino's (like raptors/compsognathus, kangaroos, and monkey/apes are good to go for a kineticist.

There IS a multiclass workaround for other shapes like a fox. 1 level of White-Haired Witch gives you a prehensile limb [hair] that's also a natural attack with a 5' reach. 4 levels of Ectoplasmatist can also get you 2 non-natural reach weapon/prehensile limbs [though 4 levels is a BIG dip].

Remember than when change shape you lose the natural attacks of your original form, white hair from the witch is a natural attack.

A natural attack gained from your CLASS and not your form. You have that attack no matter what for you take.

Secondly, White Hair is a (Su) or supernatural ability, and not an EX one. As such, it is retained as it's NOT form based.

So, no, you do not lose it when you change forms.

True, but nowhere is the white hair witch hair, described as prehensile.
The ability to attack/grapple with your hair does not thereby make it prehensile.

Nor would I treat it as such.

You skipped the class blurb where it literally calls it prehensile. "A white-haired witch concentrates her mysterious powers on improving her prowess in melee, using feats of agility and her prehensile hair to deal extreme damage."
