Muscle Wizard - yay or nay

Advice

Silver Crusade

A player of mine has brought this class to my attention.

The Muscle Wizard

In all honesty, as it would compare to other classes, what are your thoughts? I'm genuinely curious.

Silver Crusade

Yeah, it's funky, but it reminds me of All Might, so it reluctantly hits a cord.

That's a horrifically broken 3.5 homebrew class.

Silver Crusade

How might one scale it down for proper play?

I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously.

Play an Unchained Monk or other class focused on using its fists.

Convince your GM to do a gestalt Campaign. Play an unchained monk/magus. Cast spells with your fist. Even better make your character an unchained perfect scholar monk of the mantis / kensai magus.

Failing Gestalt...?

Ascetic Oracle (with 1 level dip in unchained monk for flurry of blows)
- cast cleric spells with your fist

Unarmed Kensai Magus
- cast wizard spells with your fist

Noted.

And I am the GM. Thank you for the help guys. As could be assumed, I'm a newish gm, and I appreciate your help.

Scarab Sages

A wizard that mostly buffs the party or otherwise doesn't need absurdly high DCs for spells , and can afford a strength or dex high enough to be a fairly effective beat stick. BAB doesn't matter much if you have a bunch of natural attacks, or if you hit and move.

Reminds me of Meatbag the Wizard

Silver Crusade

Ok. You got me curious. Meatbag the Wizard?
