Building an Arch Lord Of Nex for our Kingmaker(ish) game after winter break. I wanted to specialize in Clockwork constructs since they are really diverse and you can apply the template to just about anything so that you can craft it with just one skill. The problem I'm seeing right now is that all the actual Clockwork stuff has a specific requirement of like caster level twelve. Someone told me you can technically smoke Pesh to get a temporary caster level buff of +1 but is there anything else? Maybe something more peppermint? I know about master craftsmen but that can't boost me above the rank limit.

You can bypass all prerequisites to crating except for the required feat by increasing the craft dc by 5 per requirement ignored
¿Even the caster level? I'm actually playing a wizard crafter, and if this is true, now the feats to improve my spell knowledge gain new forces.
Also, how many levels can you avoid with this method? a +5 to the CD for every level you surpass?

- A (Flawed) Orange Prism Ioun Stone for +1 CL.
- AEther (and a healer on hand to undo the addiction) once every hour for another +1.
- The Death Knell spell cast every ten minutes (just crush a beetle or something) gives another +1.
- The Sharesister spell (and again a healer on hand for the casting sister or brother) for +3. But this needs to be repeated every few minutes.

There are only two requirements that you can't bypass by taking a +5 penalty to your Spellcraft DC.
Crafting and Bypassing Requirements: What crafting requirements can you bypass by adding +5 to the DC of your Spellcraft check?
As presented on page 549 of the Core Rulebook, there are no limitations other than (1) you have to have the item creation feat, and (2) you cannot create potions, spell-trigger, or spell-completion magic items without meeting their spell prerequisites. So racial requirements, specific spell requirements, math requirements (such as "caster level must be at least three times the enhancement bonus"), and so on, are all subject to the +5 DC rule.
So you can bypass the minimum caster requirement using the +5 DC rule.

It's just +5 for the entire requirement.

Hmm. There does seem to be a special caster level restriction on Crafting Constructs.
Building and Modifying Constructs
The Craft Construct feat allows a spellcaster to create all manner of permanent constructs in a process much like magic item creation. Each construct has a purchase price and a crafting cost, along with a list of requirements and the skills used to create them. Some require special materials in addition to the cost for basic crafting supplies, generally for the construct's body. Special material costs increase both the purchase price and the crafting cost of the construct. The DC to craft a construct is 5 + the default caster level of the construct, just like for a magic item. Like when crafting magic items, a creator with a sufficiently high skill bonus may ignore these requirements. Each missing requirement increases the Craft DC by 5. Regardless, the creator must meet all item creation feats and minimum caster level requirements. Crafting a construct takes 1 day per 1,000 gp in the item's base price, excluding any special material costs. This process is identical to the process for crafting a magic item, including the rules for accelerating creation and handling interruptions (see Magic Item Creation).
That looks like a specific rule overriding the general rule. It's a bit weird that the FAQ I cited earlier didn't mention this.

Because... eh... reasons?
I honestly don't know. Constructs are horribly overpriced as it is. And with that rule, they're also always underpowered.
Because crafting a Flesh Golem at 5th level ruins just about every CR appropriate encounter for the next 5 levels, and is extremely disruptive for several levels after. I did it in a game years ago and will never do it again.
While a Golem isn't the best challenge for a full party, they do lots of things a PC cannot for a long time. Immunities alone are wildly disruptive into the low teens.
You won't find an item or feat that comes close to a Flesh Golem for damage soaking at 10,500 gold. You can add HD to a homunculus, and make them out-fight a fighter by 10th level. Or, you can make a fleet of longbow toting terracotta warriors and strafe dragons at equivalent CR.
