Work with me here. I had it all figured out before, So indulge me on this Journey of rediscovery of why this doesnt/does work.
As an Example: Cast Contingency that Cast Contingency that Cast Contingency to cast Contingency that cast Break Enchantment. To say remove a Mind Wipe or something.

Contingency, PRD wrote:

You can place another spell upon your person so that it comes into effect under some condition you dictate when casting contingency. The contingency spell and the companion spell are cast at the same time. The 10-minute casting time is the minimum total for both castings; if the companion spell has a casting time longer than 10 minutes, use that instead. You must pay any costs associated with the companion spell when you cast contingency.

The spell to be brought into effect by the contingency must be one that affects your person and be of a spell level no higher than one-third your caster level (rounded down, maximum 6th level).
The conditions needed to bring the spell into effect must be clear, although they can be general. In all cases, the contingency immediately brings into effect the companion spell, the latter being "cast" instantaneously when the prescribed circumstances occur. If complicated or convoluted conditions are prescribed, the whole spell combination (contingency and the companion magic) may fail when triggered. The companion spell occurs based solely on the stated conditions, regardless of whether you want it to.
You can use only one contingency spell at a time; if a second is cast, the first one (if still active) is dispelled.

Contingency->Contingency doesn't work because

1. You cast both spells at the same time with Contingency.
2. So you would be casting Contingency and Contingency
3. "if a second is cast, the first is dispelled"

Why on earth would you not just Contingency->Mind Wipe ?

It was an Example. My true Goal was Break Enchantment on Temporal Stasis. so i could clear the vast gulf of space while in Temporal Stasis and have MULTIPLE Contingencies to cast Break Enchantment after a period of time in stasis.

It requires level 19, but there's a feat for a second contingency

Your condition to cast after a preset period of time will never be met. Time does not pass while in stasis.

Use Astral Projection and go do something interesting while your body travels.

Couldn't you just use Interplanetary Teleport? Or, you could set your contingency when you "enter a breathable atmosphere" or "come within x distance from a certain planet."

I would advise against the Astral Projection method, because your body can still be harmed and killed. You don't age, but collision with.... anything, really, would kill you.

How would the multiple levels of contingency be useful?

Just set a contingency for some reasonable condition. Are you just trying to blindly explore space? If you know where you're going you just set the contingency for when you arrive at your destination.

Bind some outsider to help you with your journey. Or create some constructs.

No condition works with a contingency placed on the caster. Stasis will prevent the contingency from activating.

If you collide with anything while subject to stasis, your ship is destroyed and you're floating in the void for eternity.

Not quite death, but close enough.

With Astral Projection, Contingency does work. You also have the option to monitor, or have an immortal bound servant monitor, your body. In case of unexpected circumstances you can decide on a course of action, including canceling the Astral Projection or relocating your still unconscious body.
