Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

What would you consider the most important books for a Players (not GM's) collection to be

------

*Core Rulebook
* APG

Advanced Race Guide is always a good addition.

CRB
APG
UM
Possible ARG, if you really want to try non standard races (drow, tieflings etc)
I also find the Equipment guide uncommonly useful, especially since it makes UC virtually superfluous where I'm concerned.

Scarab Sages

CRB, APG, ARG, UE

The remainder depends on what kind of characters you want to play and what kind of fluff you want.

Silver Crusade

I think everyone would agree that the two most key books for a player are the core rulebook and the Advanced Player's Guide. After that, it depends what kind of characters you want to make. If you like casters, Ultimate Magic is pretty important. Ultimate Combat is fun if you like martial characters. If you like druids or others with animal companions or who summon monsters, Bestiary 1 is pretty important. Advanced Race Guide is good if you like unusual races, and Advanced Class Guide is also a good one for a variety of classes.

CRB?

Core RulesBook

du'uh...thanks

CRB or PRD
$ APG (many many useful things)
$ Animal Archive (out of print but get the pdf)
$ UltCmbt (martial types & spellcasters), UltEquip (Rogues and such), or ACG (class dippers or more class options), okay... UltMag(spellcasters that need spells).
