Good afternoon!
Redid the Jedi class for the Pathfinder and would like to hear opinions to pursue this line.

Without seeing force powers it's hard to really say much on the class-- you can't judge a Wizard without his spells. The immediate note is that classes, with the exception of ninth-level casters, do not have dead levels (a level in which they gain no class ability). 9th level casters have dead levels, but always on the level at which they gain new spells.

Good night!
Thank you friend! I will follow the powers which Thorjn made to class, but I'll look in the book of psionic and books d20 that made Star Wars to not miss any of the powers and be at the right level.
I am analyzing the forms of lightsaber.
The lightsaber after
and finally the Force powers.
Has some work to do but would not want to do everything and not be a good job.
I showed the class to be able to follow the rest of the work, I thought it was very good, however ideas and advice from other teachers is always important.

My notes on the Guardian now that I've taken a second reading:

-The Guardian puts the Fighter to shame. The primary reason that the Fighter gets used, after the obvious "it's easy" is that it gets so many feats. The Guardian gets... basically the same number of feats. And more class abilities. And, for the most part, better class abilities.
-I'm not sure I like being able to just flip through forms on the fly. Most Jedi in canon seem to use one, maybe two forms-- and two is rare. Everybody learns at least the basics of Shii-Cho but I can't name any Jedi that actually use it as a matter of course-- everybody winds up picking another style and sticking with it. Personally, I'd rework that. But that might be me.
-Flurry should be noted to not stack with Haste and similar. Otherwise that gets... kinda ridiculous.
-I'd move Canny Defense forward. Maybe drop the first Movement Speed for it. That's something you want early.
-Personally, I'd like to see 'spending' higher-level Force Powers grant more points, probably in line with level. I.E., if I'm 17th level and want a four-attack Flurry, I can spend a single fourth-level Power to get it. Points spent in excess of what an ability needs would be lost, of course. But that whole mechanic could be better detailed, in my mind.

Good afternoon!
- I've been thinking of actually removing 5 feats of total Guardian, I think so balances. What do you think?
-About The lightsaber forms, partly agree, but Anakin eg Shii-Cho knew, Form IV and Form VI of the basic, wanting to learn the form VII. But he is not level 20 ... (according to the book Jedi Path) and Masters of Battle (Archetypes) are Guardians who know all styles.
-About Flurry I found very powerful increase the number of attacks.
-About Canny Defense I agree with you and I will put earlier.

Good night!
After some work I finished the decriçoes the lightsaber forms as found interesting who never read understand what this choosing, also repaired some details and finished the lightsabers and their types.
Now I devote Force Powers, so may take a while, ask patience.
After the archetypes.
I am open to opinions
Hugs and may the Force be with you.

The base attack column should be BAB, not BBA. The Will save column should be Will, not Win. Your apostrophes are in the wrong places:

(Plural) My lightsabres are not ignited.
(Single possessive) My lightsabre's crystal is blue.
(Plural possessive) My lightsabres' crystals have fallen out.

I would also advise removing the posters and other artwork for copyright reasons.

To quote your document: "A Jedi Guardian is proficient with simple weapons, Lightsaber’s, and light and medium armor."

In that sentence, lightsabers is the plural form of lightsaber and neither needs an initial capital or an apostrophe. Therefore, you should have written: "A Jedi Guardian is proficient with simple weapons, lightsabers, and light and medium armor."

Does that help?

Good day!
I'm putting the class link with their spells or powers of the Force. I looked in the Rulebook and Occult this to launch but has the playtest. I'll analyze other Pathfinder book and see if you have more spells to complete.
Split into Neutral, Light and Dark. Neutral usable, light curing and defenses, and dark that attacks and destroys. followed novels and two books, the Jedi and the Sith.
Suggestions thank since already.
hugs

I dont have a google docs account. Can you link the class in some other manner?

You shouldn't need one.

Thank you! This is much better!

Taking a quick look I do not think that the Jedi should be broken up by class as they were in 3.0 and 3.5 but rather should be a unified class as they were presented in the Saga system.

How would you explain the Sith or other Force traditions that are not Jedi or even Jedi based such as the White Current Adept?

These users Force would have to be described in other Pathfinder class. Summing up in a world where there is no magic like in Star Wars. A witch or wizard would supply these gaps. However I have focused on the Jedi / Dark Jedi and any teacher who wants to use in any scenario could use, not only Star Wars.
And it's not because they did with the help of friends and connoisseurs of the scenario, but until now this and the most complete class of Jedi have ever seen.
Now on unified class I disagree completely. I am careful with details and own book Jedi Path is divided into three class. Guardians, Consular and Sentinels, not forgetting also mentioning archetypes of each one and the same of the Sith. My order and leave the most complete class made.
Any questions I am here

Dark Archive

I like this, dotted.

Also I just got to say, don't be discouraged by those that will insist against Jedi using spells since in a fantasy setting like D&D and Pathfinder 'the Force' is a mystical energy that allows one to do things beyond that who do not use... much like a witch, wizard, exc.

Sure one can use psionics but, especially in Pathfinder where there is no official support, that source of power is secondary to spellcasting in most settings.
------------------------------

I could see playing a Jedi Consular focused on the Makashi style of lightsaber combat, of neutral alignment, who is particularly adept when it comes to knowledge and social skills... also the more deceptive force powers such as illusions as well as moment such as that of teleportation, which can largely be found within the Neutral Path.

Good day
A full revision was made in the portfolio repairing clerical errors and rules, made a citation of how to use other cultures in Star Wars that use the Force to make it easier for the Masters. I enlarged the Force Power list with the book Advanced Player's Guide and also pointed out that this book is to found easily.
I remember the Masters that the powers of the Light Side, Dark Side and the Neutral high level, there are few Jedi, Holocron or scrolls with them and an adventure is interesting to learn them.
With this portfolio can create adventures in the scenario of Star Wars in any epoch or any other medieval world, after all the universe with millions of worlds, not all belong to the Republic, but why not have a base of Jedi or Sith Empire. Either way the decision is the group or the final is the fun.
Not finished the job yet, I look the other basic books of the Pathfinder and make Archetypes described in Jedi Path. but with what you have in hands can already start their adventures.

He's also the chosen one, and while he knew form IV and Form VI, he only truly mastered one. Form V

Partner was already discussed this, you ta with a level of vision 20th, but most of the characters and NPC's nowhere near this level. Although they look revolve around until the 10th and observes the class at this level that will have an idea, Nivel 20th is a character who already learned all of that class.

Has anyone considered using Occult Adventures (psychic magic) to mimic the Force?

good evening
I should not have noticed but I used this book spells and some specifications as the same.
This month I will post the Portfolio with updates from other books of spells and some details that expand over it.

I say yes to this

Has there been any update to this project?

Great point!

Using material from Dreamscarred Press psionics would also be an excellent option ...

Kineticist with Air and Aether makes for a great jedi knight / sith inquisitor.

Mesmerist actually makes a good Jedi Sentinel, with a focus on mind tricks and skills.

Psychic makes for a good councilor, especially with a self-perfection focus.

Grand Lodge

Great points in the last 2 posts!

I prefer to envision Force users with DSP psionics. A mindblade works for the light saber, so Jedi/Sith are either Gifted Blades or multiclassed Soulknife with a manifesting class. The Dark Tempest PrC and Warmind PrC also come in handy. Which side of the Force you use tends to determine the base manifesting class you choose (Dreads and Wilders tend to be Dark side, Psions and Vitalialists Light), though of course some archetypes can mix things up (like the fear based Tactician archetype taking a more Light leaning class into the Dark side).

I also like Kineticists. Most should start with Aether. Kinetic Blade infusion could be your light saber.

Of course, for either, you could create a separate light saber item as well, but in Pathfinder terms it is likely a very high cost magic item. Anything like it in the Technology Guide?

There is the Plasma Blade in PF: 100 that is a lightsaber with a different name.

Quantum containment?! That weapon is blatantly a lightsabre, yes.

Yeah, that would do it...

12,000 gold though. Yikes.

Of course, if you are playing a Jedi campaign, it's not like you would be selling your light saber.

Don't forget that a Jedi should be making his/her own lightsaber, so you'd only pay the 6k crafting cost.

It tech instead of magic, so there is no crafting cost.

The bigger problem is that you can only use it for 10 minutes before it needs to be recharged. A lightsaber can last decades without being recharged, as shown by Anakin's lightsaber being fully functional 20 years later in A New Hope, or 50 years later in The Force Awakens.

I think Jedi should be required to be within one step of their order's alignment, and the order should have some benefit. An OJO knight (LN) is not the same as a NJO knight (NG) is not the same as post TFA Jedi (TBD).

i was thinking an Aether/lightning or fire Kineticist would make a good jedi with a mix of Enchantment wizard. the lightning and fire for their blade power.
Kinetic Blade, foe throw, force hook, Many Throw, Pushing Infusion, Basic Telekinesis, Force Barrier, and so on. enchantment wizard for all the mind magic

I am working on a star wars campaign I am tentatively calling the path of shadow. It is set in the old republic time period and involves Sith characters. It can be a story of redemption or damnation, and involves the machinations of two Sith lords who are after a lost artifact.

The idea came to me after playing the old republic, and seeing a fan film on you tube titled "Sith tradition" which gave me a different perspective on sith philosophy. It occurred to me firstly that there are two types of sith: mad dags and philosophers. Made dogs die off reasonably quickly, but the real dangerous ones are the thinkers.
Secondly that while Jedi may fall to the dark side, Sith may rise to the light. And that crafting a campaign to that end would be interesting.

I have been chasing a good system to use for it, as I am unsatisfied with the saga system. I have looked at hero system, basic roleplay, fate and a few others, but the above has made me think of pathfinder.

Bears thinking about, as the classes/rules here are very good. Personally, I would say that form 1, Shii-cho is usually the first form learned, as I have seen repeated sources say it is the basic form that is first taught to jedi/sith, due to its simplicity, and the jedi/sith branches out from there. But each to their own.

Please keep up the good work.

How is your campaign going?

Not started yet, still developing

Well, make a psionic version of recharge.

Maybe?:
Discipline Psychokinesis
Level Dread 3, Cryptic 3, Psion/Wilder 4, Psychic Warrior 3

MANIFESTING
Display Auditory
Manifesting Time 1 minute

EFFECT
Range: touch
Target: object touched
Duration: instantaneous
Saving Throw: Fort negates (object); Power Resistance yes (object)
Power Points: Dread 5, Cryptic 5, Psion/Wilder 7, Psychic Warrior 5

DESCRIPTION
You restore up to 1 charge per power level to a battery or half that number of charges (round up) to a technological item capable of being charged by a battery. If you recharge a battery, there is a 20% chance that the battery is destroyed by the attempt. If you restore more charges than the item can hold, the item must succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or take 1d6 points of electricity damage for each excess charge. This spell provides no knowledge of how many charges an item can safely hold, but you can choose to bestow fewer charges than the maximum allowed to reduce the risk; you must declare how many charges you are restoring before casting this spell.

Augment: For every 2 additional power points you spend, the level of the power increases by one.

I always pictured a Jedi class basically being like a swashbuckler that gets Wisdom-based psychic spellcasting with the same progression as a medium (4-level, starts with knacks at 1st level). A class that requires a Lawful alignment or maybe a Lawful Good alignment with an archetype for fallen or sith.

I previously made Pathfinderized versions of a Star Wars RCR and Saga Edition Jedi for a Pathfinder conversion of the D&D 2E Night Below campaign. We basically gave the Jedi simple and martial weapon proficiencies, the Monk's skill list plus Use the Force, and we nerfed the lightsaber to do 1d8 damage wih 19-20 crit range and it ignored 10 points of hardness. The Force was treated as a type of psychic magic. We had to fudge a couple of Force talents and feats, but otherwise it played very well...til the TPK. I am currently gearing up to play a mindblade magus in a new campaign with a different GM, and will try to play it as a Jedi.

Good to have some other free Jedi conversion stuff out there. ;)

HAvent seen any updates on this in a while, And I was enjoying the notes, and conversations about this project.

Anything more recent? Did it get moved to a different thread?

And the above links no longer seem to be working :(

Good morning gentlemen
I've been to other works in these past years but I took the portfolio and saw updates not yet posted, I will make a review and post here for you ...
