I have the [#7-98] Serpent's Ire chronicle sheet, and bought the Wrathful Ring of Spell Storing for my lvl 10 Sorcerer.
The Ring itself is a Minor Ring, so only spells upto 3 levels. But the Ring allows for one of those spells to gain the Empower Spell to one spell by one level, instead of two.
I don't have much experience with metamagic feats.
So, the main question I have is: Does this Empower ability increase the level of the spell in the ring?
Basically, I have Fireball stored, can i cast Fireball as Empowered, or does it 'exceed' the limit of the ring?
I have Shocking Grasp stored, can i cast it as Empowered since it's a lvl 1 spell and i have the capacity for three levels of spells?

I'm pretty sure applying the Empower Spell effect counts against the maximum level of the ring. In the practical sense, that means you can apply it to a Level 2 or lower spell, probably when you add the spell to the ring (since the ring doesn't have 'charges', just storage levels, and metamagic on spells in a Ring of Spell Storing do normally count against its storage limit).

Can you post the description for the ring? Since it's PFS and not regular PF, it's not available on any of the PF info sites.
Wrathful Ring of Spell Storing (CL5, 16,000g)
This ring functions as a Minor Ring of Spell Storing, but it is further enchanted to allow the wearer can apply the Empower Spell metamagic feat to one stored spell by increasing the effective spell level by one, not two. The wearer does not need the feat itself to use this property
yes, there is a weird line in there. most likely an error.
Another question I'd like to know i:s can i apply effects via my Sorcerer Robes onto spells I cast through the Ring [i also have a Ring of Spell Knowledge II with Glitterdust stored] or scrolls?
