Nothing - I'm the DM. :)
I just like allowing options. It's unlikely to ever be chosen, but it occurred to me that someone with an unwieldy weapon might want to fight defensively and I'm not much of a theory guy when it comes to RPGs - I wondered whether there was some reason I shouldn't let that be an option.

Is the metal blade THAT heavy that you can't swing it this fast :P ?
I get the idea that a regular doshko is heavier, I just didn't realize it was THAT heavier.
In fact, all analog doshkos are unwieldy, which is... rather weird. For a traditional weapon of a race of warrior reptiles, shouldn't have they developped a lighter version that sacrifice damage for better control?
Hey, it's not like we can't have 2 versions of the same weapon with different qualities.

I think it's weird that things that would seem to emblematic of CLEAVING, like huge, two-handed axes, are unwieldy and cannot be used to Cleave.
Speaking as a guy playing a Vesk, I'm also kind of annoyed that the unwieldy Doshko can't be used as PART of a full attack (such as, say, hitting one dude with the Doshko and the other dude with my tail). I'll just have to soldier on.
