Swallow Whole

Does the damage a swallowed creature causes in trying to escape get reduced from the swallowing creature's hit point total?

(my search has not revealed an answer to this question)

On first blush, I figure if you damage the creature, you damage the creature. Does Swallow Whole say the damage an escaping creature does is not regular damage?

Common sense says if something you swallowed cut a hole in your stomach and escaped through it, you'd be injured in the process.

Well common sense also says if you hit someone's arm he'll be injured, but called shots say otherwise...

You still deal normal damage with the called shot rules. Unless you are talking about a different set of rules than the ones in Ultimate Combat.

Nothing there suggests that the damage isn't normal damage, it just tells you how much you have to hurt the creature to make a hole you can get out of (1/10 its total HP)
