Ability says weapon attack and damage rolls. Wasn't sure if spells would qualify.
Any spell that requires an attack roll (whether touch or not) and that does damage, is a weapon-like spell, and will benefit from something that enhances 'weapon' damage, provided it is not more specific like 'melee weapon' or 'manufactured weapon', etc.

1st level can be done. Magical Talent is a trait. Gains a single use of a 0-level spell per day. Certainly not an amazing use of a trait, but if going for favored enemy undead anyway, not terrible.

Don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but got a page reference for this one? Or just a general rules quote? I've always played that Ranger's Favored Enemy (Ex) only works with weapons. Sounds awesome, I'm just having trouble finding a rules basis for this. I didn't think it could add to spell damage or to the attack rolls of spells that cannot be delivered with a weapon attack (like melee touch with unarmed strikes).
