What would be the best styles for a wisdom based monk?

Silver Crusade

Or as spirit monk as I like to call it.

I've seen a startlingly effective build from the sensei monk (and ki mistic and quiggong, i think), who was this little old man with terrifying grapple abilities and the ability to let other people get true strike and turn into clouds of smoke. (Sensei monks get wisdom to attack and cmb rolls, I believe)

The best thing for a WIS-based Monk is to take one level of Cleric and Guided Hand. Cleric of Irori for unarmed strike, or Hei-Feng for 9-ring broadsword, or Nethys for quarterstaff. Or others, in combination with Crusader's Flurry.

Style-wise, Jabbing Style improves damage without involving ability scores. Shaitan Style is very strong with high WIS and works with fist or weapon, but isn't easy to get unless you get Elemental Fist as a bonus feat with Four Winds Monk.

+4 Guided AoMF is also a solid option, even if it's expensive...

Guided is from a 3.5 book and as such he should ask his GM before assuming its usable.

Linnorm Style is pretty good for a high Wis monk.

Snake style is good for any monk with high AC shh but a wise focused one should end up with.
