I searched and found similar threads on this, but none explicitly answered what I was looking for.
So, say I'm an Eldritch Scion magus, but I started with 1 level in Bloodrager for the rage and the boosts to speed, hp, and fortitude. I've also taken Mad Magic so that I can cast spells while raging.
I know that Bloodrage and Mystic Focus don't stack, but am I allowed to have both up at the same time, or does Mystic Focus count as a "rage" for the purpose of not being allowed multiple rages at the same time?
If I DON'T enter Mystic Focus while raging, am I allowed to use my magus level in place of my bloodrager level to determine what bloodline benefits I get while bloodraging, since Eldritch Scion says "An eldritch scion’s effective bloodrager level for his bloodline abilities is equal to his eldritch scion level" and doesn't specify that that only applies to mystic focus?

1: You can, but as far as I am reading these abilities, you would get no benefit. Mystic focus lets you turn on "when raging" blood rager powers. You are already bloodraging.
Well, for about the first half of their career the Eldritch Scion can only use Spell Combat while in a Mystic Focus, so there is that.

You can't have two rage effects at the same time, according to a FAQ:
When you either activate or are affected by a new form of rage (such as a barbarian’s rage, a skald’s raging song, a bloodrager’s bloodrage, and the rage spell), you can choose whether to keep your current rage or to accept the new rage instead, much like a creature affected by multiple polymorph effects.

I'm aware of that, the question is whether mystic focus counts as a "form of rage".

Sorry for the small thread necro. Ok, so Bloodlines don't stack for Eldritch Scion and Bloodrager. What about a situation like the Abyssal Bloodline, which at 12th level gets this ability:
At 12th level, the morale bonus to Strength granted by your bloodrage increases by 2, but the penalty to AC becomes –4 instead of –2. At 16th level, this bonus increases by 4 instead. At 20th level, it increases by 6 instead.
That would seem to be useless for an Eldritch Scion. However, if the Eldritch Scion had a level of Bloodrager, spent the eldritch pool point for Mystic Focus, and entered a Bloodrage, would they get the bonus strength for their Bloodrage?
