Can Druids take the Sun domain?

Rules Questions

So can they? The sun is a force of nature, after all.

Shadow Lodge

Not by RAW, unless there's an archetype I'm unaware of.

Not likely to be an oversight since the Sun domain was published in the CRB.

Reasonable houserule.

If your DM is OK with it, yes, by RAW no.

I've cheked, the lion shaman can grant you this domain.

A druid with the nature priest archetype who worships the right deity can also get the sun domain.

I think for pathfinder purposes, the Sun isn't a force of nature....That, or they just decided that because the Sun domain grants bonuses on channel, that it would be confusing to give access to the Sun domain for druids in the CRB.

Darkness is also not a Druid Domain, despite having as much cause as the Sun Domain to be considered a force of nature.

I think the Druid equivelent of the Sun Domain would be one of the Terrain Domains, like the Desert or the Badlands Domains. Archetypes do exist for the other domains.
