Ello forum peeps,
I've been working on this Kitsune idea over the past few days and really my only goals have been this:
* I would like to mess with peoples minds
* I wanna pass all my bluff, intimidate, diplomacy checks
* I'd like to play a support role in battle, whether its casting from stealth or buffing allies
What I've been deciding between was Sorcerer bloodlines and whether to go crossblodded. BUT now I've discovered Mesmerist and I'm like O.o what is this gold I've found.
So I come to you for advice. Whats the best way to make someone who messes with the minds of others, and uses social skills to avoid battle altogether.

Mesmerists can meet your criteria. If you want to do a lot of buffing you might want to focus on their tricks and take the vexing trickster archetype; they're more into debuffing by default. If you want to cast from stealth then go for the cunning caster or conceal spell feats, and take invisibility spells or illusion of treachery or something.
Your first two criteria come naturally as a mesmerist.

I'll second AVR's suggestion. Mesmerists are really good at lying, and their high Charisma and possession of all social skills as class skills means that you're likely going to pass those checks. Mesmerists also have a spell list full of spells that mess with people's minds, and kitsune have a pretty good favored class bonus for mesmerists that meets this criteria. (Hypnotic gaze also helps ensure that your mind-affecting spells will land, especially if you take Spell Focus: enchantment or illusion.)
Mesmerists play a support role that relies on a combination of tricks and dealing extra damage using painful stare. When you stare at enemies, you also put various penalties on the things they do, like attack roll penalties, save penalties, and even penalties to the DC that you need to affect them with certain social skills. They're also great at feinting, and a common mesmerist tactic is to take Greater Feint and render foes flat-footed for their allies.

I have looked at Bards, yes! Avoided it cause that's not the style of trickery I wanted to go with with this character.
All right so Mesmerist is a +100. I had found the Magical Tail thing for Kitsune's kinda cool. Just free spells everyday. Is it worth picking up the feat for them? Or should I just avoid them altogether?
PS:
I'm considering the following archtypes maybe?
Cult Leader
Autohypnotist
Thoughteater
Grandlounge

Magical tails are not bad I'm more inclined to focus on dcs and maybe hiding casting if you really want to do that.
There are also trick feat like reflexive and bouncing which are amazing for defending your allies. Most builds grab manifold stare and painful stare if they want to help do more damage.
Great class for someone who wants to test themselves to play smart and strategically.

Not sure if your character is for a home game or for PFS, but the Cult Leader is illegal there. Autohypnotist has better penalties on their stares then normal mesmerists do and can spread them a bit, but it comes at a cost of putting those penalties on yourself as well.
Thoughteater is a weird case, since it gives you skill bonuses based on who you're targeting. If your home game is a social intrigue game, it could be useful, but remember that hypnotic stare only works if you stay within 30 feet of the target of your stare. This means that you can't knock someone out, dump their body in a closet, and then use their bonuses all day. (Unless you somehow kept their body within 30 feet of you all the time, following all of the usual conditions of the hypnotic stare.) Kitsune WOULD be insanely good with this archetype if you took the Realistic Likeness feat, assuming you're encountering mostly humans.
The Magical Tail feats aren't bad, but they tend to not be worth it unless you have a way to gain them in place of other class features. (Like bonus feats.) Eight feats is a HUGE sacrifice over a long period of time without much payoff, after all. You're probably better off grabbing some trick feats and stare feats, and using those to amplify the ability your mesmerist tricks and bold stares.
