Variant Multiclassing

Silver Crusade

Probably the wrong forum for this, if so please put it in the right one. Now, on to the topic:

I like the rules for variant multiclassing, but I am curious if Paizo ever intends to further flesh it out? We have options for the Core Rulebook and Advanced Player's Guide classes, are we ever going to see Advanced Class Guide, Ultimate series, or Occult Adventures given the VMC treatment?

It is a variant system and unlikely to see more support unless a large portion of the fan base actively calls for it.

Well, to be fair, the Unchained classes themselves are a subsystem, and yet they still get support.

Yes, but there is a LOT of people using those classes, and within the pathfinder society (PFS). They don't allow variant Multiclass in PFS.

Silver Crusade

They don't allow a fair amount of what the publish in Pathfinder Society, so that in itself isn't much of an argument for not including it in a later product.

It kinda is, since it's a big selling point. Not a final say or anything, but that player base would be completely uninterested in stuff that isn't for PFS, and sales is what drives support.
