So I'm going to be starting to play a Skald next week for the first time. We have a melee heavy party, so I figured now's as good a time as any. I've never seen one played or anything, even though I've GMed plenty in the past.
But I would really like to have things to say when using Raging Song and such. Just for flavor and fun. Poems, recite like one line of it every round until I end my song, or just give quick limericks every round. Or even something dumb like puns would be fine.

There once was a path to be found,
leading the party underground,
to a scene of such violence,
where someone cast silence
so they died without making a sound.
I don't know, but I've been told,
Gorum's sword is made of gold,
But I don't care if that stuff's true,
Cause Imma run mine right through you.
This is my greatsword, this is my knife,
This one's for fighting, and this one too come to think of it.

There once was a barbarian lout
whose rage was more of a pout
into combat he'd flounce
with a petulant pounce
but he'd still knock every enemy out.
A monk with flurry of blows
once tried to pick his own nose
in six seconds flat,
he'd jabbed through his hat
and now rests in gentle repose.
A bard who played the bassoon
irked a wizard with an earworm tune
the mage said "Enorph"
cast baleful polymorph,
now the bard croaks a soft froggy croon.
A dwarf once shaved off his beard
and the result was very weird
for underneath all that hair
there was no one there
yes, the dwarf had completely disappeared!
A cleric of Zon-Kuthon
had nothing to hang his chain on
so he pierced his nethers
and rigged up some tethers
and proudly displayed his chain-thong.

Inspire Courage (Su):
Perform Oratory (epic, ode, storytelling) = Poetry
Round 1, Standard Action:
Humans, Orc, Tiefling, Elves of many stripes;
We shall slay evil enemies of various vicious types!
Free Action on repeat for rounds 2+:
Slay evil enemies!
I adjust the performance based on who is in the party (e.g. the Orc is gone, but we have an Aasimar that week; I never had to worry about the "many stripes" phrase on elves, since we had a Gold Elf [my bard], Moon Elf, and a Drow Elf). I also switched it to "We shall slay this group of evil enemies of its one vicious type" if there is only one homogenous group of enemies...
Unlike the poets above, I wanted something I could say in less than 6 seconds, since it represents just a standard action at level 1, and a move action at level 7.
