Atomic Druid (arhetype)
Mutant empathy: this ability functions exactly as Wild empathy, but with the folowing changes: an Atomic druid may improve the attitude of any mutated creature but at a -4 penalty on the check if the mutant has an INT score of 3 or higher, he may never improve the attitude of magical beasts and animals. This ability modifies and otherwise replaces Wild empathy.
Mutant shape: at 4-th level, you gain an evolution pool like a summoner's eidolon that=1/2class level+your WIS modifier, your evolutions only function when using wildshape. These evolutions can be changed or added when you gain levels. An Atomic druid can't take the Unnatural aura, Alignment smite, Channel resistance, Undead, Fiendish, Celestial appearance, Incorporeal Form. In addition, at 8-th level he can Mutantshape into magical beasts as if using beast shape IV. He may never Mutantshape into elementals. This ability replaces Resist natures lure, Venom immunity, A thousand faces, Timless body and alters Wild shape.

A problem has occured, here it is: a Atomic druid wildshapes into a medium animal, he bought large as an evolution - easy, no problem, but what if he wildshapes into a large animal? I see three paths.
A) the large and huge evolutions are banned.
B) he gets the best score bonus, but his size remains unchanged.
C) if he wants to become huge while already being a large animal, he must pay for the huge evolution.
Thoughts?

The shifter is coming out at the end of the year, a class specializing in shapeshifting, so there are probably going to be shapeshifter specialization options for all the classes out there as archetypes or feats.
I believe with that, it would be the last bit of the druid, effectively killing the druid and taking his stuffs.
But anyway, option a, would be the most sensible option right now.

I welcome the archetypes should they exist. For me, the Druid has been dead from a splinter to the heart from their own armour since I first read that restriction.

What do you think?

A mutant animal is a subset of magical beasts. Dire and giant animals are mutants. At some point you will have to make lists. Owlbear, mutant. Unicorn, not mutant. Chimera, not sure. Ettins and Lamias might choose to be favorably disposed to Atomic druids.
I think the PC atomic druid should be required to take one mutation for their base form. Even if it's cheating like a giant kobold. An M sized kobold, wouldn't really pass for a lizardman.
