Life Oracles and Lich Curses

So I have a player who's going to play an Oracle with the Life Mystery, and the Lich curse. Because lawl the irony makes for good story.

A question arose as to the use of the Energy Body Revelation.
The revelation specifically states

Quote:
Any undead creature striking you with its body or a handheld weapon deals normal damage, but at the same time the attacker takes 1d6 points of positive energy damage + 1 point per oracle level.
The revelation also separately states
Quote:
Once per round, if you pass through a living allied creature’s square or the ally passes through your square, it heals 1d6 hit points + 1 per oracle level. You may use this ability to heal yourself as a move action.

It doesn't specify that the source of this healing is Positive Energy.

The Lich curse states
Quote:
You take damage from positive energy and heal from negative energy as if you were undead.

The player is not -actually- undead, however.

Is the player allowed to heal themselves with Energy Body?

Technically yes, but only because it wasn't explicitly written that it's positive energy.

As a GM, I would tell you it's positive energy and will harm undead, such as a lich that you might happen to be.

Another part of that same ability deals with undead creatures striking the energy bodied oracle. Those that do suffer damage in the form of positive energy from coming into contact with them.
I feel it would be save to say that the healing living creatures get from being touched by your oracle is the same force as the harm undead creatures suffer from touching you.
It's not expressly written like that, but I feel it's heavily implied.

Also, MOST healing is positive energy. Thinking on it, the only magical healing that comes to mind that isn't positive energy is kinetic healer and its relatives.

No, it's positive energy. Most of that mystery can't be used the help yourself if you take damage from positive energy.

No. Most healing for living creatures is positive energy. Negative energy can be used to heal undead (and creatures that heal as undead). If the Oracle heals as undead and takes damage from positive, then you can heal them with inflict spells and channels to heal undead (and other sources of negative energy healing).

The heal skill doesn't require an energy type to heal creatures. Fast Healing also heals regardless of energy type. There's a few other options, but it's often unconventional uses.

I'm unclear, but I think you can get potions of Inflict light wounds. Might need to shop on the shady end of town to buy those, though...

Fair, Murdock. I was speaking specifically about healing living creatures, but I never specified.
