Dat zombie-lady head ally...

...is apparently a mace. I'm not sure what RPG inspiration for this was, so maybe the head just attacks with a litany of curses, activated by swinging its cage around.

If it does not however - should the head have the Bludgeoning trait, like all the other maces?

Lone Shark Games

Quoting the source material: "A short length of chain is affixed to the cage, allowing a creature to wield her in combat as an improvised flail; doing so allows Neferekhu to make a free bite against the target on a successful hit."

She also does glare and curse at everything around her, weirdly enough :)

If only Biting we're a trait.

Every goblin.

Silver Crusade

More details on her, from the rpg:

Spoiler:
She's Nebta-Kufre's grandmother. She was an oracle who was perpetually disappointed in her grandson, and she foresaw the mask and horrors of undead. He decided he wanted to control all the horrors of undead, so he killed his grandmother and raised her head to keep her around for her visions. She was evil before she died, if that makes you feel any better about it.

Heh, you know - our Estra encountered one of those pesky scrolls (immune to Bludgeoning) with only Neferkhu on hand, so that caused a discussion if maybe Neferkhu needed an errata and should be disallowed against the scroll. One of the players then actually argued:

"Like hell the scroll is immune to her - the zombie head just rips it apart with its teeth!"

Prophetic words, it turns out :)

I brought Balazar (WOTR Version) through Mummy's Mask and was delighted to find that playing her does not count as playing a weapon; it gives his standard attack a lovely d8 boost. And once I picked up Ring of the Grasping Grave and realized every check with Neferekhu invoked the Undead trait I was adding a d4, d8 and the AD# to every combat, not to mention the standard strength + arcane + ad# from Padrig. Extremely powerful combo (d4, d6, d8, d10 + 18 in AD6 with maxed out Charisma)
