Coup De Grace and Stealth

Rules Questions

So when you coup de grace does it end stealthing? In Stealth it says an attack breaks stealth but it is sort of a stealthy move to slice the neck of a sleeping dude. So how does this work out?

Coup de grace is an attack. An attack breaks stealth. Coup de grace breaks stealth.

If the person you tried to kill survived your attempt, you may be sure they noticed you. However, using Stealth is usually not an action. So if you killed your target, after the attack you have cover or concealment from other creatures in the area, and they haven't observed your target (in which case your attack was also observed), I'd say you can immediately attempt new Stealth check against them.

Of course, they may still notice that their companion suddenly dropped dead and start looking for you, and considering you didn't have time to move away they wouldn't have much trouble finding you.

to hide you need to use movment(move action 5 ft step or even retreeting, can be runing if yo utake the panilties and have the ability) so after you coup the target you can 5 ft back into shadows if no1 see you. remmber that the fact your hiding doesn't mean the target is helpless and thus open for death strike. to coup de grace you need mroe then stealth(normaly).
