Makeup

Advice

With the exception of the Disguise kit, nothing at all lists makeup. If someone wants their character to have makeup, do they just need to suck it up and buy said kit? After all, a Courtesan, Geisha, or something similar wouldn't care about the fake beards, mustaches, or other things in the kit. Should I just use my GM powers and say it's half the cost of the kit and move on?

Strictly RAW, yes.

Yes, you should. :-)

Some in rules options come to mind.

Entertainer's kit for 5 sp includes "clownish makeup".

Aforementioned disguise kit for 50 gp.

Masterwork tool for 50 gp defined as makeup to provide +2 to diplomacy in certain circumstances.

Scarab Sages

Just what we need, another rouge thread.

Actually, it would be cool to have the makeup equivalent of Marvelous Pigments. Minor version works like Disguise Self or Disguise Other. Middle version works like Alter Self. Major versions work like Monstrous Physique. Really awesome versions work like Giant Form. Some more exotic versions work like other Polymorph spells.
