Wild Shape and Tigers -- Bite / Claw Damage?

Rules Questions

A tiger has a 2d6 bite and 1d8 claw.

The universal monster rules state a Large creature's bite is 1d8 and it's claw is 1d6.

If a Druid Wild Shape into a tiger, do they get the 2d6 bite/1d8 claw from the creature entry or the 1d8 bite/1d6 claw from the universal rules?

The UMR are just defaults. Always use the Bestiary entry when one exists.

Scarab Sages

Use the creature entry in the bestiary, not the default chart.

UMR are for when you make your own monster stat block!

Is the Druid allowed to shape into a Huge Tiger with the damage from attacks increased by one size category at level 8? Or does he need to find an actual Huge animal?

The latter. The general polymorph rules specify "no templated or advanced versions of a creature."

You can not template. So when you get Huge, you need a new Huge monster to shape into.

All right, thanks.

A warcat is basically a huge tiger though :) so they can turn into that.
