Any idea why Totem Spiritualist was banned?

Totem Spiritualist

I can not think of why this archetype was banned. Can someone else see something that I can not? Yes, the archetype does allow multiple pets, but other legal archetypes have that option, and that was simply taken away in organized play? Maybe the archetype depends on more on multiple pets then I realize? Really, more opinions would be appreciated.

The class already has a built in restriction limiting you to 1 companion so a clarification (nerf) isn't needed.

I have no idea why this isn't legal.

My best guess, there are a lot of unclear issues. It looks relatively clear, but when you get into the details ...

My guess is that someone got confused on how to actually build this animal-phantom, like "do I get emotion powers or not?" and thus they banned it for being to variable????

Maybe it makes for a stronger animal companion than an actual animal??? Cause this has been a trend, if you're poaching an ability from another class you have to be worse than the original. That's the only explanation I have as to why the ninja vigilante, the real bard paladin, or the swash paladin got cut. They are viewed as maybe better than the original.

I agree, I had no thought that it might be illegal though. Which makes it really hard to petition for since there's seemingly no clear reason for the ban.

*I really wished they'd list why archetypes get banned. Sure people would complain or argue, but you just ignore that and not respond. But that way people wanting to petition for inclusion would have some base to work from.

Phantom Animal replaces the entire phantom class feature (alter might have made more sense), without that you are missing quite a bit.

Edit: I the virtous bravo would have been the only archetype for another class that grants parry after it has been removed from all the others.
