Quick Question - Illusion-based monsters?

I'm looking for a fairly specific sort of creature, but my knowledge of the Bestiaries is far from extensive -- does anyone know of a monster in the CR 9-11 range that uses illusions heavily? Ideally an Outsider of some manner.

Worst case scenario I'll grab a Vrock or something and stick a Sorcerer template on it with some illusion spells, but I'm hoping for something a bit more interesting than that.

The Phasmadaemon is illusion and fear themed, but CR 17.

A Rakshasha with illusion spells would work better, maybe.

Well, illusions come in all shapes and sizes. What sort of illusions are you looking for your creature to use? For example, Invisibility is an illusion spell. Disguise Self is another. So is Blur.

Are you looking for a creature that buffs themselves with illusions, or one that alters the terrain around them using illusions?

Something that uses non-defensive illusions -- SLAs like Major Image or Phantasmal Killer, say. The Phasmadaemon would be perfect if it was about six CR lower.

1) Animate Dream (from Bestiary 2) is a NE outsider with CR 8 and Phantasmal Killer.

2) Mothman (also from B2) is a CN monstrous humanoid, but has Phantasmal Killer already at CR 6 and many more thematic spells. Maybe add the half-fiend template for +2 CR.

A shining child is CR 12 and has several illusions and light-themed abilities. A moon-beast is CR 11 with illusion and mind-control abilities, but it's an aberration if an extraplanar one.
