I can't spy a concrete answer, but you'd probably be best filing it under spear, based on description + historical appearance.
I figured it would make the most sense, but does that mean I can use the polearm master archetype to shorten it's reach (or spear dancing style feats).
Will this need a house rule to count as part of the Fighter Weapon groups or is there anything official?
I doubt there is anything official for it.
But common sense is an important thing, and it should definitely qualify as either a spear or polearm.

THIS is about as official as it gets. For PFS, it's been classified as fitting into the Spear weapon group. As far as the rest of Pathfinder, it's up to your GM, but that's what I'd go to.
The really goofy bit on the Sarrissa is that it refers to itself as a 15' spear, so you can't reallistically bring it in an dungeons....

Yeah, but the real challenge is things like: Your traveling down a 10x10 tunnel. It makes an "L" turn...Can I move my 15ft pole past this corner?
I really think the Sarrissa should have some kinda note in the description regarding transportation. Like a "This item can be unassembled into three 5' poles as a full round action. While unassabled, it cannot be used as a weapon."
There are a handful of magic spells and weapon enchantments that allow characters to resize weapons, so I have considered making a build around this weapon, but as written, it's not a great option for low level characters playing in PFS scenarios...
